Feminine Star Africa started in 2009 as a passion to support young girls who got pregnant and dropped out of school in a village called Bodada.
In our attempt to curb the occurrence of such pregnancies and hep the girls to earn income and be self reliant, we thought it wise to organize seminars on sex education and engage them in pepper farming to earn income. After a year, we realized their interest were different and started helping one girl at a time to learn a trade or go back to school.
In the year 2016, we registered Feminine Star Africa as a non-profit organization that stands for integrity to impact the lives of women and girls by providing social interventions for their self-sufficiency and independence.
Our projects include the following:
Girls Education Support (Scholarships and educational materials)
Skills Training
Micro Business Support
Upwards Bound Seminars
Write Evolution Project (Story Writing Competition)
Women in Agriculture
Learn at It (After School support)
Mini Computer Lab Project
